Overview:
In 2013, the MV Cape Ray was equipped with a mobile hydrolysis system to neutralize a stockpile of chemical weapons in Syria. MDS was proud to play a small role in outfitting this vessel by documenting the mobile hydrolysis electrical system on board and advising on the tie-in to ship’s power. The MV Cape Ray completed the mission in August of 2014 after neutralizing almost 600 tonnes of chemical weapons.
