To satisfy ABS operational requirements, MDS was tasked with developing the detailed operations manual for the dynamic positioning system on board the Pico 4, a DPS Lift Boat. The requirement is due to the complexity in operating the on board dynamic positioning system, which utilizes an array of thrusters and GPS for navigation of the vessel. The 80 page manual was delivered within two weeks and was approved by ABS upon first review.
